The LG defendants move to transfer this patent infringement lawsuit to the District of New Jersey pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1404(a). Dkt. No. 48. Because the LG defendants have not met their burden of showing that the District of New Jersey would have had pe rsonal jurisdiction over one of the defendants, LG Electronics Alabama, Inc. (“LG Alabama”), the motion to transfer is denied.
