DSS Technology Management, Inc. (“DSS”) asserts U.S. Patent No. 5,652,084 (hereinafter the “‘084 patent”) 1 against Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, Limited, TSMC North America, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., Samsung Electronics America, Inc., Samsung Telecommunications America L.L.C., Samsung Semiconductor, Inc., Samsung Austin Semiconductor LLC, and NEC Corporation of America (collectively, “Defendants”). On March 3, 2015, the Court held a hearing to determine the proper construction of the disputed claim terms in the ‘084 patent.
