This claim construction opinion construes the disputed terms in U.S. Patent No. 6,1366,776 (“the ‘776 patent”). Plaintiff Software Tree, LLC (“Plaintiff”) accuses Defendant Red Hat, Inc. (“Defendant”) of patent infringement. The parties have submitted a number of claim terms for1 construction and filed claim construction briefs (Doc. Nos. 114, 131, 149, 157). A claim construction hearing was held on February 2, 2010. On March 29, 2010, the Court issued a provisional claim construction order (Doc. No. 177).
