Before the Court is the Motion to Transfer Venue to the Northern District of California Pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1404(a) filed by Defendants Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. (“SEC”) and Samsung Electronics America, Inc. (“SEA”). Dkt. No. 54. For the reasons discussed below, the Motion is DENIED.1 I. BACKGROUND On October 13, 2023, Plaintiff Cerence Operating Company filed the instant suit. Dkt. No. 1. Plaintiff alleges that SEC and SEA infringe U.S. Pat. Nos. 7,395,078; 8,081,993; 9,026,428; 11,087,750; and 11,393,461. Id. at 1.
