The Court held a Markman hearing on March 25, 2010. After considering the submissions and the arguments of counsel, the Court issues the following order regarding claim construction: I. Background of the Technology Plaintiff Leon Stambler asserts United States Patent Nos. 5,793,302 (“the ‘302 patent”) and 5,974,148 (“the ‘148 patent”) (collectively, “Stamb ler patents”) against remaining Defendants Compass Bancshares, Inc., Compass Bank, Firs t Horizon National Corporation, and First Tennessee Bank National Association (collectively, “Defendants”).
