After considering the submissions and the arguments of counsel, the court issues the following order concerning the claim construction issues: I. Introduction In this case, plaintiffs Northeastern University and Jarg Corporation contend that Google1 infringes various claims of U.S. Patent No. 5,694,593 (“the ‘593 patent”). The patent covers search database architecture and includes both method and system claims. Defendant is in the business of providing search services which Plaintiffs claim infringe both the method and system claims.
