In December 2016, Promptu Systems Corp. filed a com- plaint against Comcast Corp. in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania alleging th at Comcast had infringed Promptu-owned U.S. Patent Nos. 7,047,196 and 7,260,538 and also asserting infringement of U.S. Reissued Patent No. RE44,326 and certain state-law bases for relief .
