U.S. Patent No. 9,498,419 describes and claims a method of bleaching hair by applying to the hair a mi x- ture created by combining (a) a bleaching formulation with (b) a second formulation containing a n active agent that reduces or repairs damage to the keratin proteins of the hair —damage that can result from bleaching , perm- ing, or other hair -treating processes.
