This case returns to us on remand from the Supreme Court of the United States. Samsung Elecs. Co. v. Apple Inc., 137 S. Ct. 429 (2016). Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., Samsung Electronics America, Inc., and Samsung Telecommunications America, LLC (collectively, “Sa m- sung”) sought review of our prior decision in Apple Inc. v. Samsung Electronics Co., 786 F.3d 983 (Fed. Cir. 2015), arguing tha t we erred in our interpretation of design patent damages pursuant to 35 U.S.C. § 289.
